About KenKen

KenKen is a math-based logic puzzle invented by Japanese math teacher Tetsuya Miyamoto. Fill a grid with digits so each row and column contains unique numbers, while grouped cells (cages) must combine to reach a target using addition, subtraction, multiplication, or division. It sharpens arithmetic and logical thinking skills.

How to Play

1. Select a cell by clicking or tapping it
2. Enter a digit using the number pad or keyboard
3. Each row and column must contain unique digits (1 to grid size)
4. Grouped cells (cages) must combine to the target number using the shown operation (+, −, ×, ÷)
5. Use Notes mode to pencil in candidate digits

Controls

• Click/Tap: Select cell
• Number keys 1-6: Enter digit
• Backspace: Erase digit
• Arrow keys: Move selection
