About Lights Out

Lights Out is the classic electronic puzzle game from 1995. You're presented with a 5x5 grid of lights, some on and some off. Clicking any light toggles it and its four adjacent neighbors. Your goal is to turn all the lights off using as few moves as possible. Every puzzle is solvable — you just need to find the right pattern of clicks!

How to Play

  1. Click any light to toggle it and its 4 neighbors
  2. Your goal is to turn ALL lights off
  3. Plan ahead — each click affects up to 5 lights
  4. Try to solve each puzzle in as few moves as possible
  5. Win multiple rounds to increase your score

Controls

  • Mouse Click: Toggle light
  • R: Reset current puzzle
  • New Game: Generate new puzzle
