About Starship Sorades

Starship Sorades is a vertical scrolling space shooter inspired by classics like Raptor: Call of the Shadows and Warning Forever. Originally created for the js13kGames competition, this action-packed game features 13 waves of increasingly difficult enemies, power-ups, shields, and bombs. Survive all waves and rack up the highest score!

How to Play

  1. Destroy all enemies in each wave to advance to the next
  2. Collect bonus items dropped by enemies: + (weapon upgrade), E (energy), S (shield), B (bomb)
  3. Avoid enemy torpedoes — they drain your energy
  4. Game ends when your energy reaches zero
  5. Score points by hitting enemies, destroying torpedoes, and collecting bonuses

Controls

  • Arrow Keys or WASD: Move ship
  • X, C, Y, Z, or Space: Fire weapons
  • P or Esc: Pause
  • F: Toggle fullscreen
